Etten and Xeikon are proud to announce the successful validation of five newly developed embossed substrates for use across the Xeikon digital press portfolio, specifically the Xeikon TX and CX platforms. This joint validation marks a significant milestone in digital wall decoration, enabling Xeikon users to produce premium, textured applications with exceptional durability and print quality across multiple press models.
This achievement represents the first time Xeikon has fully validated embossed substrates for the TX500, CX500 and CX50. Xeikon’s latest dry toner technology, Titon toner, provides these substrates with outstanding abrasion resistance and chemical durability, eliminating the need for additional varnishing or coating.
Traditionally, printing on deeply textured or embossed surfaces digitally has presented challenges regarding ink adhesion and consistency. The validation of Etten’s new range on the TX500 proves that Xeikon’s technology can not only handle complex textures but also deliver the durability required for wall decoration.
